Hill and Vale
This single origin ginger is grown in the Surkhet district of Nepal which lies in the Inner Terai valley approximately 600 km west of Kathmandu. The region is home to fertile farmland and forests because of the area's generally flat terrain and low elevation that is supported by several rivers flowing from the Himalayas.
The variety of ginger farmed by our partner co-operative is called 'Bose' and it has a low fibre content with fresh citrus smell when recently ground coupled with a strong spicy aftertaste.
